R&D PROJECT: "CYCLIDE AND OTHER SURFACES MODELED WITH RINOCEROS": Project manager and supervisor concerning a research project between the Department of Mathematics (DIMAT - Politecnico di Torino) and Marcopolo LAB Design Touch® (Marcopolo Srl brand) with the aim of converting concepts from differential geometry into manufactured objects for the home and office. The practical goal is to develop an automatic procedure to bridge the gap between
existing software in the two disciplines (such as Mathematica® and Rhinoceros®). Research results and goals have been presented throught dissertation "CYCLIDE AND OTHER SURFACES MODELED WITH RINOCEROS" by Paolo Crosetto on December, 13th 2007 (abstract - movie - ppt).
